Job Summary

The Marketing and Media Assistant (Temp) is responsible for supporting the development and build of a WordPress website, ensuring that all content and page layouts meet design specifications.

Responsibilities*

• Working from existing content and page layouts, add content to WordPress modules. Content includes written copy, video, images, icons, PDFs, and other media.
• Assist with internal quality assurance review of links and PDFs.
• Resize images and other media as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications*

• High school diploma
• Basic proofreading skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work to meet deadlines
• Competent in standard IT software packages including, Microsoft Office
• Experience building pages in WordPress
• Experience with Chicago Manual of Style

Desired Qualifications*

• Associate's degree
• Familiarity with the organization's style guide 

Work Locations

This position may be eligible for remote and/or flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department.  Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on the business needs of the hiring department, throughout the course of employment.

Michigan Language Assessment is seeking candidates located in or around Ann Arbor and supports a fully remote work from home schedule with occasionally scheduled in person activities. 

Upon request, qualified candidates outside of the Ann Arbor commuting area may be considered.
