The IT Infrastructure Team Lead will provide technical leadership to the team of system administrators responsible for server operations and daily on-call support. This role will assist the function manager in coordinating and leading team initiatives. The role will be responsible coordinating daily on-call requests, server configuration management, and team application upgrades.Accountabilities:
Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:
- Assist the functional manager in the day-to-day management of the IT Infrastructure team
- Defining, documenting and maintaining IT Infrastructure team processes
- Responsible for Windows Server and Linux server patching
- Provide daily management of system administration Managed Service Providers
- Support the organizations vulnerability management efforts
- Responsible for coordinating server configuration management adherence to established baselines
- Perform and coordinate daily on-call server support
- Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and enterprise operational requirements
- Work closely with multiple project teams to implement and support data-oriented development efforts
- Establish and ensure implementation of standards for the IT Infrastructure team
- Work alongside team members to ensure deadlines are met
- Act as mentor and coach to junior level system administrators
- Provides hands on technical expertise, provides senior level technical guidance to IT Infrastructure team, project leaders and other teams as necessary
- Provide responses to Internal and External Audit requests related to IT Infrastructure
- Work with IT teams to ensure server changes adhere to best practices and are properly prioritized and scheduled
- Identify training needs for IT Infrastructure team members and work with Infrastructure Manager to ensure training needs are met
- Manage and ensure system administration governing documents are kept up to date
- Develop and report on team level KRIs and KPIs
- Other assignments and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
- 7+ years of experience as a system administrator working within the Microsoft Windows Server environment preferred
- Experience as lead system administration a plus
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server versions 2016 and later
- Experience with maintaining a virtual server infrastructure w/ VMware, deep understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, storage technologies and data backup/recovery preferred
- Strong knowledge of ITIL a plus
- Working knowledge of Center for Internet Security (CIS) server configuration benchmarks preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to initiate, complete, and oversee required tasks with limited oversight
- The ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to foster a work environment that values, welcomes, respects and honors all dimensions of diversity
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately
Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $112,230.02 - $133,273.15This salary range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank’s annual incentive plan.
