Position Overview:
Silverline enables business and digital transformation through our innovative data and integration solutions. We believe Salesforce, MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica and other data tools will continue to be a large contributor to what we do, and we want talented, creative and thoughtful individuals to join our team.
The optimal candidate is an innovative Integration expert with the ability to understand complex middleware architecture, set up and support complex integration platforms.
As a Senior Salesforce Integration Architect, you will own the end‑to‑end design and governance of complex, enterprise‑scale integrations that connect Salesforce with both modern SaaS platforms and mission‑critical legacy systems. You’ll translate business goals into robust, scalable integration solutions using best‑practice patterns, event‑driven approaches, and API‑first principles, ensuring seamless data flow and an exceptional user experience across the organization.
This role is for you if you can:
- Design integration architecture that balances performance, reliability, and security for high‑volume (real‑time and batch) use cases.
- Evaluate business requirements, select the optimal Salesforce integration pattern (event, request‑reply, batch, fire‑and‑forget, etc.), and articulate trade‑offs to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams - product owners, enterprise architects, and developers—to turn complex business processes into elegant technical designs.
- Troubleshoot integration issues swiftly, working hands‑on with tools such as Workbench, Postman, and MuleSoft Anypoint.
- Mentor developers on API design, event streaming (Platform Events, Change Data Capture), and best practices for resilient integrations
Primary responsibilities include:
- Architect & Design: Deliver integration blueprints, sequence diagrams, and data flow models for Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems.
- Implement & Govern: Lead development teams in building APIs, middleware flows, and event‑driven solutions; establish standards, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for integrations.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate design reviews, present technical options to executive sponsors, and secure alignment on integration roadmaps and SLAs.
- Performance & Security: Define non‑functional requirements (throughput, latency, data residency, encryption, authentication) and oversee monitoring, ing, and capacity planning.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of Salesforce releases, and emerging EDA patterns; identify opportunities to simplify the integration landscape and reduce technical debt
Requirements:
Must Have:
- Experience: 5–7 + years delivering enterprise integration projects, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce
- Integration Patterns: deep knowledge of Salesforce patterns (remote call in, data virtualization, process invocation, event driven, etc.)
- Systems: hands on integration with Cloud/SaaS systems, APIs, and legacy systems
- Technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, OAuth 2.0/JWT, middleware queues, Platform Events/CDP
- Architecture: proven track record designing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud/SaaS and on prem integrations
- Soft Skills: excellent communication, diagramming (Visio, Lucidchart), and the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non technical audiences
- Platform Developer 1 and Platform App Builder certifications
Nice – To – Have:
- MuleSoft or other iPaaS design & implementation experience
- Salesforce Integration Architect or Application Architect certification(s)
- Experience in highly regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare)
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Terraform)
- Familiarity with microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience leading distributed and offshore development teams
