Job Description:

Production Planner

Location: Redmond, WA

Contract duration: 6 months

Shifts: Mon-Fri Night Shift ~3:00pm-11:30pm

As a Production Planner, you will create and optimize the systems that enable efficient movement of flight hardware through environmental test operations. You will develop innovative solutions that balance aerospace traceability requirements with production efficiency, while maintaining the flexibility needed for rapid design iteration.

Key Responsibilities

* Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules that optimize test equipment utilization while meeting downstream integration needs. Create systems to balance production and development test priorities.

* Metrics Reporting: Communicate test status and estimated completion dates to leadership. Work with production personnel to ensure schedule/metric goals are understood.

* Material Flow: Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production location. Support management of material certifications to prevent use of un-certified materials.

* Cross-functional Coordination: Partner with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues with dependencies before a test is delayed.

* Process Improvement: Work cross functionally to develop and improve production scheduling tools and WIP tracking.

Basic Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in production planning or operations management

* 1+ years experience with MES/ERP systems and production scheduling tools

* Understanding of aerospace quality and traceability requirements

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies

* Knowledge of environmental test operations

* Experience implementing automated material tracking systems
