Success Criteria
As a Material Controller, you’ll be the heartbeat of material flow—coordinating, tracking, and expediting parts and assemblies across departments. The most successful team members are highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
You’ll work across functions, from receiving and inventory management to supporting manufacturing kits and outbound logistics. Challenges include managing time-sensitive shipments, accurately maintaining inventory records, interpreting project requirements, and supporting compliance with safety and preservation protocols. Success means maximizing efficiency, reducing downtime, and playing a critical behind-the-scenes role in delivering world-class engineered systems.

Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for supporting the movement and tracking of materials and components throughout the warehouse and production floor. You'll work hands-on to issue, receive, prepare, and document inventory in alignment with both project needs and company standards. Your diligence, accuracy, and commitment to safety will help Jered meet critical delivery goals and uphold our reputation for reliability.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years in shipping/receiving
- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production control environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Experience with inventory tracking or ERP systems (e.g., Jobscope, Visibility)
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and operate in a physically demanding environment
- Forklift operation experience
- US Person
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints
- Woodworking or crating experience
- Familiarity with preservation requirements and material handling best practices
