Legend Biotech is seeking a Financial Analyst as part of the Finance team based in Raritan, NJ.

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will be a key contributor in the reporting, forecasting, and budgeting cycles for the Raritan manufacturing plant. This individual will be responsible for partnering with the business to build robust financial models and keep detailed assumptions pertaining to planning cycles and project analysis. This role will work closely with all functional areas within Operations, Quality, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting close cycles for the Raritan Plant.
  • Support finance teams at all plants within the supply network related to cost accounting and month-end close, as needed.
  • Provide guidance and work with the Raritan teams for all forecasting and budgeting cycles.
  • Conduct financial analysis to achieve long term financial objectives including support for business decisions requiring a financial/business assessment.
  • Develop, implement, and refine financial models and KPI's for the Raritan Plant.
  • Generate customer invoices weekly and in accordance with company accounting policies.
  • Submit invoices to customer portals for payment in a timely manner.
  • Proactively monitor outstanding customer balances and communicate customer statements on a weekly cadence.
  • Oversee the collection of past due invoices by communicating with past due customers frequently.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and perform month-end close activities such as reconciling general ledger account balances, posting journal entries, and compiling reporting packages.
  • Report weekly product shipments, revenue, Days Sales Outstanding, and other relevant KPI's to leadership.
  • Generate plant management reporting and commentary on key financial performance metrics around inventory, cost of goods sold, revenue, and capital.
  • Support internal and external audit requests for substantive and analytical testing, periodic audits, and control walkthroughs.
  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and analysis of financial reporting in accordance with IAS.
  • Reinforce adherence of internal controls around inventory and revenue to ensure compliance with IAS.
  • Ensure inventory controls are designed properly and operating effectively.
  • Contribute to overall supply chain finance team by reporting and educating team on financial status/initiatives.
  • Establish key stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Planning, and Admin functions.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. MBA and/or professional certification is a bonus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing finance/accounting role in the biopharmaceutical and/or medical devices industry.

The anticipated base pay range for this is: $75,972 - $104,462 USD.
