Volt is immediately hiring a Packaging technician (Operations Support) in Ankeny, IA !

As a Packaging technician you will :

• Complete orders as assigned following Standard Operating Procedures, within a clean aseptic environment.
• Perform daily cleaning of work surfaces and equipment to maintain a clean aseptic environment.
• Perform packaging, labeling, and lot tracking of consumable products using semi-automated and automated equipment.
• Management and storage of raw materials.
• Maintenance and validation of production equipment
• Management of inventory and production processes via SAP ERP software.
• Working independently and as a team to ensure production deadlines are met.
• Cleaning, stocking, and lab maintenance duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Associate's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field or equivalent work experience in chemical manufacturing or laboratory manufacturing required.
• As a packaging technician, you will be primarily responsible for dispensing and labeling liquid consumables for our capillary electrophoresis and microfluidics platforms, in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and standard operating procedures in a clean laboratory production environment.

This is a temp-to-hire position.

Schedule: Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Location: Ankeny, IA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range: $17.00- $18.00 per hour
