Pay Range*: Between $45-- 55per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Title: Mainframe Developer

As a Mainframe Developer , you will:
- Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including system installations, upgrades, and deployments.
- Identify and recommend improvements for service quality and availability within the technology environment.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software for low to moderately complex assignments.
- Review and analyze technical challenges tied to low to medium-risk deliverables; evaluate and propose alternative solutions.
- Present recommendations to resolve issues, escalating when necessary to meet service level agreements.
- Exercise some independent judgment while building an understanding of relevant technology areas, especially regarding security and compliance.
- Collaborate with technology teams, internal partners, and stakeholders to share updates and technical insights..
- Programming knowledge with COBOL on mainframe systems.
- Foundational knowledge of Assembler programming.
- Familiarity with EZTRIEVE.
- Understanding of VSAM types and defining VSAM structures.
- Basic knowledge of:
- CICS
- JCL
- PROC
- Endeavor
- CA7
- MQ
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
- Exposure to Data Space, ServiceNow, Agile methodologies, FMMVS, and basic software testing practices.
