The IT Support Specialist position installs, modifies and repairs computer hardware and software systems, as well as infrastructure components including, but not limited to, switches, routers and access points. This individual provides direct technical assistance and support to system users. S/he images and deploys workstations, laptops and other hardware, manages Active Directory and Cloud environments. This individual is a motivated professional with good time management and interpersonal skills.
This is a PART-TIME position (24 hrs/wk - 3 days) and is ON-SITE in Mentor, Ohio.
More specifically this role is responsible for:.
- Providing first line support to internal customers and end users both in-person and remotely.
- Perform computer imaging, deployment, repairs, first level troubleshooting and install software and upgrades.
- Testing and documenting system processes and enhancements as they occur.
- Utilizing the Help Desk System to track all support cases and generating documentation.
- Training users on peripherals and software when necessary.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred. High school diploma/GED required.
- Five Years Hands-On Experience working in Information Technology or a Related Field (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of Hands-On and Classroom Experience.
- Licensure/Certifications:
• IT Certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, PMI (preferred)
• Pursuit of additional certifications (encouraged)
• BLS/CPR/First Aid (as applicable, company provided) - Excellent demonstrative verbal and written skills.
- Health care experience preferred.
