Job Description:

Service Desk Analyst needed onsite in the Radford, VA area


Location: Radford, VA

Pay: $25/hr.+

Shift: 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM)

Contract: 24 months


Qualifications:

  • Degree or Sec+ or ITIL certification (degree preferred)
  • Previous military experience would be a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Field user communication, create and document tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate issues.
  • Provide initial support and analysis, monitor and track incidents, and communicate progress.
  • Complete non-ticket creation duties as assigned by Service Desk Management.
  • Adhere to standard Service Desk policies and processes, including shift scheduling and performance metrics.

Training:

  • Initial 4-6 weeks, Monday to Friday, 0800-1630.
  • After training, move to 3rd shift (10-hour shifts covering three weekdays and every other weekend).

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation, MS Office Suite, and help desk/trouble ticketing software (ServiceNow preferred).
