




Our client, a growing digital / social agency, is looking for a freelance Performance Marketing Managers to join their team. Ideally looking for mid & senior level talent so hence the budget range.
This is a 40 hour per week role, and will be onsite once every 2 weeks at one of their West Coast US locations
(They are open to Los Angeles, San Francisco or Portland).
The Performance Marketing Manager will:
-own / manage one or more performance marketing channels, serving as the business lead responsible for channel strategy, execution, and results
-use AI / automation tools to scale marketing ops, and drive efficiencies in campaign management, optimization, and reporting
-collaborate with a technical partner to develop + refine systems, and continuously audit + validate AI generated outputs
-design / execute A/B tests, and analyze large datasets to uncover insights, guide optimization, and inform automation
-contribute to roadmap planning for AI-powered marketing tools, with a focus on scaling and business impact
The Performance Marketing Manager has:
-ideally 6+ years of experience in marketing, with specific expertise in performance (ideally from a programmatic or automation-heavy background)
-deep understanding of advertising metrics, and ROI / marginal returns
-strong analytical / problem-solving skills, and ability to leverage data and AI systems
-hands-on experience in marketing automation or AI tools
-proven ability to work autonomously, with the ability to collaborate when needed with engineers or external partners
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
