




Our CPG client is looking for a Market Research and Insights Analyst to join their team on a 10-20 hour a week contract through the EOY. This position is fully remote, but you must be available during business hours.
As a Market Research and Insights Analyst you will develops insight-driven recommendations to guide brand strategy and drive marketplace success. This role leverages primary (qualitative and quantitative) and syndicated research to uncover consumer behavior and market trends.
Requirements of the Marketing Research and Insights Analyst:
- Lead insight generation using syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and custom research to support brand growth and innovation.
- Translate market data into actionable insights, focusing on the why behind the what.
- Design, manage, and analyze research studies; present findings to influence brand strategy.
- Deepen consumer understanding to inform positioning, innovation, and communication.
- Foster consumer empathy across teams and identify key learning needs.
- Align research efforts with business priorities and decision-making timelines.
- Collaborate across insights teams to share best practices and improve efficiency.
- Manage research budgets and vendor relationships to ensure strategic value.
- Prioritize high-impact projects and streamline or outsource low-value tasks.
- Act as a strategic partner with a business-owner mindset.
Requirements of the Market Research + Insights Analyst:
Education: B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or Sociology (Masters/MBA preferred).
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in marketing research; CPG experience preferred.
