




Our financial services client is looking for a Photo & Video Producer for their in-house advertising agency. This is a 3-month assignment (40 hrs/week) in Westwood, MA- candidates must be able to work onsite in Westwood 3 days/week (Mon. Tues., and Thurs.). They remaining 2 days can be worked remotely.
You'll help manage the production process from pre-production through post, while also getting hands-on with camera work, lighting setups, and studio shoots. You should be comfortable both behind the camera and behind the scenes. This role will report to the Creative Director, Video/Photo.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and manage photo and video production schedules, crew, talent, locations, and equipment.
- Lead or assist on-set with camera operation, lighting, and photography as needed.
- Oversee pre-production planning including timelines, call sheets, equipment needs, and shot lists.
- Act as point-of-contact between creative, production, and post-production teams.
- Set up and break down lighting and camera gear for both studio and on-location shoots.
- Scout and book locations, manage permits, and coordinate logistics.
- Ensure projects stay on time and within budget, flagging risks or delays early.
- Support the editing and post-production process by organizing assets and maintaining workflows.
- Maintain a high standard of production quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Travel domestically as needed for on-location shoots and productions.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of professional experience in photo and video production.
- Strong working knowledge of cameras (DSLR/mirrorless/video), lenses, and studio lighting equipment (e.g., strobes, continuous, modifiers).
- Comfortable operating cameras for both photography and video (handheld, gimbal, tripod).
- Experience producing shoots across a variety of formats (e.g., interviews, product, lifestyle, studio, and location).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly with creative teams, talent, and vendors.
- Comfortable lifting, moving, and setting up production equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically as needed.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience working with digital asset management systems (e.g., Frame.io, Dropbox, Capture One).
- Familiarity with production insurance, permits, and budgeting.
- Background in commercial, branded content, or agency work.
- Basic understanding of color grading, audio leveling, or editing workflows.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Film, Media Production, Photography, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
