A Day in the Life:

Perform general laborer duties to maintain a clean plant area. Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment. Additionally, this role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

Monday - Friday day shifts, 7AM-3PM
Overtime, call out availability, weekends/holidays, and an on-call rotation are required.

Pay rate: $23.70 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:
* Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area.
* Operate hand tools, forklift, bobcat, backhoe and other mobile equipment.
* Climb steps/ladders, work in high places and confined spaces.
* Work outdoors and in all types of weather.
* Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment.
* Work safely and communicate effectively.
* Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
* Mechanical background with prior experience in a plant or similar environment helpful.
* Related experience preferred.
* Strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety.
* Work in a primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment.
