WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Operations Optimization Analyst at our corporate office in Portsmouth, NH. The Operations Analyst will support the Operations department and the SVP of Operations to perform analytics, support field operations, drive operational process standardization and support operations routing system use and reporting. In addition, the Operations Analyst will support finance and business development initiatives, Mergers & Acquisitions activity, and finance/operations business process.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and drive consistency in Collection, Transfer Stations, Materials Recovery Facilities and Landfill's operating KPI's
- Identify cost savings opportunities through the analytical review of operating and financial statistics
- Standardization of field operational business process to facilitate reporting and analytics
- Participation in cross functional process standardization initiatives in Collection, TS, MRF and LF.
- Provide effective support and collaboration with field operating personnel and management teams
- Effectively monitor the performance of multiple facilities and communicate guidance as needed
- Provide/assist finance and operations with statistical analysis for budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Represent Operations department at PMO and stakeholder meetings
- Recommends updates to policies & procedures to improve financial performance
- Assist in integration of newly acquired companies.
- Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office tools including strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Working knowledge of general ledger and accounting entries
- Financial acumen
- Communication skills
Formal Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of experience or Associates Degree and 2+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in project management and process development
