Job Title: Compliance Specialist V
Location: Onsite in Redmond – 25% travel US

Manager Notes:
- 40 hours a week but time worked daily will vary
- MUST HAVE IH experience, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1000, ACGIH TLV, NIOSH Analytical Methods
- will help carry out sample plans, high level role (not manual in nature), will ensure 3rd part vendors perform sample items correctly. Ensure accurate data overall.

Analyzing SDS’s and speak talk about occupational exposure
Evaluating chemicals, knowledge of these chemicals

CW will never be the single source of truth, team uses third party industrial hygiene companies.
Accompany, monitor, evaluate what that third party company is doing. How do we digest their reports. Sitting down with lab users and share the results.
Job Description:
Location: Redmond, WA (Travel up to 25%) travel would be in the US
Manage core industrial hygiene exposure assessments across Meta Reality Labs locations focusing primarily on air and noise. The ideal candidate has developed and implemented exposure assessments across complex chemical environments.
Core Responsibilities:
Partner with Site EHS Operations to understand processes, chemicals used to develop IH exposure assessments and recommended IH sampling plans
Assess 3rd party (IH consultant) sampling plans, results and review results with employees and Site EHS Operations
Maintain IH sampling database and supporting documentation
Provide recommendations on similar exposure groups for streamlining IH monitoring and assessments
Lead Nanotechnology and Industrial Hygiene Business Unit Plan implementation including training and assessment
Provide recommendations for administrative and engineering controls based on assessment results
Education/ Skills:
Industrial Hygiene, Certified Industrial Hygienist
Minimum 7 year’s experience developing and accessing occupational exposures in complex work environments
Knowledgeable in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1000, ACGIH TLV, NIOSH Analytical Methods
Key Projects:
Managing sampling plans and performing IH assessments of chemicals in each lab. This will include writing RFP, monitoring the sampling events, interpreting the sampling results, informing the employees sampled and entering the data into the IH data base. Supporting the written IH program globally as needed.
