Job Description:

Quality Control Chemist

Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a Chemist on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• This individual would be responsible for performing quality testing on in-process samples from the production line using Gas Chromatography (GC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
• Running wet chemistry tests
• Maintaining laboratory equipment
• Keeping good lab documents

Requirements:

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related science
• Knowledge and 2-3 yrs experience with GC and HPLC
• Pharmaceutical industry is a plus, candidates with experience from other industries will be considered.
• Must be local to the area and have private transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule

• Day shift, 12 hour shifts Su-Tu E/O Wed
