The Technical Regulations & Standards Specialist - Valves will be responsible for managing, ensuring and improving capabilities to comply with external Technical Regulations & Standards (TRS) as applicable to valves in a variety of applications and industries. The position requires thorough understanding, application and mastery of TRS requirements, execution of certifications, approaches, theories, methodologies in a cross-functional, matrix organizational context.

As a Technical Regulations & Standards Specialist - Valves you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring TRS compliance of end-destination use for global valves products & services. Applied typically to equipment, software and personnel.
  • Advising functional managers or other functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures regarding TRS requirements and certifications.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex TRS topics.
  • Managing and/or executing certification strategies.
  • Including emphasis on REACH compliance (and global REACH-type regulations), with responsibilities to establish and maintain automated REACH compliance approach in SAP.
  • Managing and interfacing with global certification bodies.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college (OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality).
  • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Technical Regulations and Standards (TRS), including but not limited to, ASME, PED, ATEX, IECEx, CML, REACH, etc.
