What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks AVP, Workforce Analytics and Forecasting in Henderson, NV (multiple positions available):

1. Responsible for Planning & Forecasting across Collections, Fraud, Care and/or Credit Operational functions.

2. Maintain strong relationships across the entire network to understand business needs and impacts in order to ensure appropriate staffing to service our customers across the different lines of business.

3. Assist in managing and training a team of analysts to consistently succeed in providing accurate forecasts & socializing the results in a concise and informative way.

4. Pioneer in developing forecasting models and reporting procedures & migrating all legacy processes from SAS to Python while maintain rigorous documentation and version control to ensure replicability and facilitate the overall team adaptation.

5. Provide weekly/monthly diagnostics of forecast vs actual results breaking down the main drivers for variance and financial impacts.

6. Review current process & procedures to increase efficiency and/or control gaps within the process and communicate changes to the Ops Rigor team for approval.

7. May telecommute.

Minimum Salary: $155,000
Maximum Salary: $170,500

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.

Purpose of the role

To optimise staffing levels, forecasts, scheduling and workforce allocation through data analysis to enhance the customer experience within the bank's operations.

Accountabilities

  • Management of staff optimisation levels, forecasting and scheduling resources by analysing data, business volume and trends to support the workforce allocation process.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate workforce management processes and governance.
  • Development and implementation of workforce management strategies, processes and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient banking operations.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in workforce management processes and provide feedback and coaching for colleagues on these highlighted areas.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in workforce management Services. .
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve workforce management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development and management of staffing schedules to optimise staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Management of the operational readiness plans, supporting the business with meeting desired customer outcomes.

  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
