Production Artist, Senior Manager

Position Overview
Our client, an entertainment merchandising company, is seeking a full-time Manager, Production Artist to join their team.

You will play a critical role in transforming creative merchandise concepts into production-ready artwork, ensuring all designs meet technical specifications and uphold the brand's quality standards for apparel and souvenir manufacturing.

This role is 5 days onsite, alternating between the NY and NJ office as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert creative concepts into vendor-ready artwork with precision.
• Review and refine designs for accuracy, consistency, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and approve production proofs.
• Manage production timelines and uphold brand quality standards.
• Design and maintain apparel neck labels and related documentation.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Oversee digital screen-printing approvals in partnership with Account Managers.
• Photograph products for e-commerce and maintain photo equipment.
• Oversee one direct report

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in graphic design and print production.
• Strong background in layout, typography, and factory-ready art pack creation.
• Deep understanding of screen-printing processes and apparel production.
• Previous experience in the fashion/apparel industry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy.

• Fashion retailing is helpful
• Very detailed oriented, with an analytical mind
