Job Title: Tableau Developer
Job Location: Full Remote
Pay Range: $67/hr-$79/hr
Contract Length: 3 Months
Summary
This individual will participate in all phases of the analytics lifecycle, including searching data capture requirements, preparing and cleansing data, analyzing patterns and trends in structured and unstructured data that spans across all facets of the Enterprise, and synthesizing findings into presentations that convey insights and recommendations through storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and mastery of details. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using the power of data and technology to drive best-in-class risk management practices and outcomes in corporate risk and segment risk functions.
Responsibilities:
- Apply visualization techniques to internal and external customers to make accurate and actionable analyses in a timely fashion.
- Create self-service dashboards for internal business partners to learn, understand, have access to, and derive insights from data, metrics, and KPIs.
- Be a partner in the building of KPIs, KRIs, and metrics.
- Document dashboards or process function lineage through job aids and/or guides.
- Execute analytics projects in response to business needs.
- Apply automation techniques to manual processes to create efficiency and accuracy, and drive self-service utilization/consumption of data.
- Champion corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work with management to develop and apply effective risk management processes and controls.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field (e.g., Computer Information Science, Statistics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Analytics, Data Management, Reporting, or similar functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL, Python, R, SAS, or related languages for reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams (e.g., Corporate Risk, Segment Risk, IT, Chief Data Office).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a timely fashion.
- Familiarity with banking industry risk management concepts.
- Passion for continuous learning and development.
