POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for assisting the Digital Merchandising team in the delivery of supporting and executing the online merchandising strategy. This role will assist the team to merchandise the site to create an experience that is easy to shop and is relevant. They will assist to ensure categories are positioned competitively online to meet sales, margin, conversion and customer satisfaction goals. This position will partner with many cross-functional partners including merchandising, digital product, creative design and development teams. The position will report to the Sr Manager Digital Merchandising.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist the Digital Merchandiser event lead with execution of creative and pricing reviews for events.
-Assist in creation of featured landing pages for events.
-Assist the Digital Merchandising lead with homepage wireframe creation and ensure completion for creative turnover.
-Assist with weekly homepage process execution.
-Research trends, opportunities, and competitors to discover new ways to improve customer experience within assigned product categories.
-Competitive Insights: Continuously look at trends in site experience, and digital merchandising for outside inspiration, as well as across the beauty industry to benchmark against competitors and assist in identifying key opportunities and gaps.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
-1-2yrs relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
-Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills.
-Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail.
-Effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
-Outstanding communication, organization, time management and interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done.
-Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
-Efficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint, a plus.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
