Job Title: Senior/Principal FPGA Programmer

Location: Redmond, WA

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior/Principal FPGA Programmer to join our team in Redmond. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA design and implementation, with at least 5 years of professional experience in VHDL and Verilog programming. This role involves developing innovative FPGA solutions, collaborating with a multi-person team, and contributing to cutting-edge projects, particularly in RF and DSP domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL and Verilog.
• Work on projects involving Xilinx FPGAs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Participate in FPGA project design reviews and provide technical expertise.
• Support RF and DSP-related FPGA projects as needed.
• Utilize Git, DevOps practices, and CI pipelines to manage version control and streamline development processes.
• Contribute to improving development workflows and best practices for FPGA projects.
• Leverage additional programming skills, such as Python, C, or other languages, to support system integration and automation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in FPGA programming with VHDL and Verilog.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on Xilinx FPGAs.
• Experience working on RF and DSP projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Git, DevOps practices, and CI pipelines in a team-based development environment.
• Additional programming experience (e.g., Python, C) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
