In this highly visible role, situated on the trading floor, you’ll apply your seasoned expertise in server-side development (Java/C++/C#), SQL, Python, and large-scale distributed systems to reshape the solutions and services supporting the Equities Derivatives, Quantitative Strategies, Risk Management, and Quantitative Analyst desks. You’ll be responsible for porting existing solutions to cutting-edge technologies and adding new tools and systems that provide timely, actionable analysis. Your work will involve designing and building systems that leverage enterprise infrastructures to improve reliability, resiliency, and scalability, thereby enhancing capacity, quality, and timeliness of deliveries.
To be successful as an Equity Derivatives Developer, you should have:
Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Java, C#
Experience with SQL programming (MSSQL/Oracle)
Proficiency in Python
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
Knowledge of Equity Derivatives pricing, risk management, trading, and settlement
Other highly valued skills include:
Windows/Linux shell scripting and Windows PowerShell scripting
Experience with cloud-based computing (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Messaging systems such as Kafka, Solace, or MQSeries
Experience with web-based UI development
Functional programming (Scala, Haskell, OCaml, etc.) experience

Minimum Salary: $165,000
Maximum Salary: $227,000

- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
