Job Summary:
The Senior Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in driving high-priority strategic initiatives that influence executive decision-making and long-term business planning at 7-Eleven. This position supports the Strategy team's enterprise-wide efforts by combining deep analytical rigor with structured problem-solving and persuasive storytelling. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong strategy toolkit, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work across functions to deliver insights that shape company direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-impact executive presentations with clear narratives and visual polish for use by the CEO, CFO, and Strategy leadership.

• Drive in-depth research and strategic analysis across major themes including macroeconomic trends, competitive benchmarking, customer behavior, and retail technology.

• Structure and support critical enterprise-wide projects, including Board updates, strategic roadmaps, financial announcements, and investor relations materials.

• Synthesize complex datasets and trends into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Digital to align strategic analysis with business goals.

• Lead competitive intelligence deep dives and track market share, business model innovation, and emerging disruptors.

• Maintain and improve knowledge management processes that streamline reporting and increase organizational agility.

You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or strategic planning within retail, CPG, or technology sectors.

• Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field preferred.

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must have.

• Experience developing Board- or C-suite-ready materials with a strong narrative arc.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify implications and prioritize what matters most.

• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with influence across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with investor relations processes or earnings preparation cycles.

• Strong grasp of key retail performance metrics (e.g., comp sales, margins, store economics).

• Experience working with external data providers or evaluating consumer insights tools (i.e., Bloomberg, Placer.ai, or AlphaSense).
