JOB DESCRIPTION

Apex is seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant with strong consultative skills to act as a Change Manager, Internal Practice Consultant within our Consulting Practice as part of our Apex Systems Solutions Delivery Organization. This role is best suited for someone with a deep understanding of organizational operating models, Agile frameworks and best practices. The change manager will play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role is crucial for someone adept at managing the human aspects of change, including business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. They should demonstrate a passion for mentoring, clear communication, and tactful interaction with personnel at all levels, while creating a compelling vision of the project’s end goals. This role will be responsible for managing client deliverables and contributing to our internal consulting practice. There will be an onsite requirement for this role.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, and technical communities. Represent Apex Systems as leaders at industry and professional events, while developing and maintaining a robust internal and external customer relationship.
  • Demonstrate Expertise: Exhibit technical knowledge, skills, and effective professional consulting abilities. Foster trust and respect among internal and external stakeholders and model collaborative teamwork.
  • Thought Leadership & Strategy: Provide thought leadership to inspire others through change initiatives. Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. Apply change management processes and tools to create strategies supporting project or initiative adoption.
  • Engagement and Execution: Create and execute engagement roadmaps and communication plans. Develop training plans to keep employees informed about upcoming changes and their rationale. Manage methods, channels, and distribution lists for business transformation training and engagement, including feedback channels for evaluating effectiveness. Develop and deliver compelling presentations to effectively communicate change plans and progress to stakeholders.
  • Project Management and Delivery: Oversee and ensure all deliverables are met in alignment with the Statement of Work. Facilitate and perform activities in accordance with the Business Readiness Framework, including UAT strategy, Value Tracking, Operational Readiness, Process Mapping and supporting the organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Lead and facilitate stakeholder interviews to gather insights, requirements and build personas.
  • Change Impact and Risk Management: Conduct change impact analysis to understand the effects of proposed changes on the organization. Identify, analyze, and prepare change management risk mitigation tactics. Evaluate and ensure change readiness, identifying key stakeholders.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Apply structured methodology and lead change management activities, including defining, measuring and reporting success metrics. Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.Analyze and document the current state versus the future state of projects.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives. Facilitate change management meetings and workshops to prepare employees for upcoming changes. Provide training and support to employees to help them transition smoothly through the change process. Effectively influence others and move toward the successful achievement of transformation goals.
  • Innovation and Problem-Solving: Continually seek creative solutions and find new ways to add value. Understand client needs, proactively provide solutions, and approach challenges with a consultative, solution-focused mindset.
  • Client Relationship Management: Stay attuned to the future needs of the client and work with internal resources to identify opportunities. Participate in sales pursuits by providing strategic guidance, estimates, scoping, and other pre-sales activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of proven experience in change management within multiple organizations.
  • Required change management experience within healthcare.
  • Proficient in various project methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (relevant education and experience may be substituted) Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP), or equivalent experience required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft suite tools, including using PowerPoint for engaging presentations, and templates in Word.
  • Preferred experience in various project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, MS Project, etc.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate professional consulting skills, leadership abilities, and executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Show adaptability and flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring team members.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management and organizational skills
  • Well-versed in virtual coaching techniques and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent creative, conceptual, storytelling, and analytic thinking skills.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in team setting and independently
