



About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist as part of the Service Asset-Based Lending group within Commercial Banking Operations. As the Senior Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct customer support and be the primary servicing contact for your portfolio of loans. You will also be responsible for booking and funding new loans, making modifications and processing participation settlements.
In this role, you will:
Partner with group managers to design and implement strategic data to meet group or company goals for the asset-based lending group
Perform complex statistical analysis and applies analysis to initiatives that support business strategies related to commercial loans
Process broad based technical and business knowledge to anticipate emerging issues and provide subject matter expertise to less experience individuals
Recommend subsequent strategies and business directions to improve customer satisfaction
Manage or participate on large cross group projects, meet department service level agreements, and participate in operational enhancement meetings
Make decisions on matters with some financial impact and risk and review moderately complex loan servicing documents
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues, provide training, and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of commercial lending experience
2+ years of asset-based lending experience
2+ years of leadership or management experience
Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project, and process gaps, recommend controls, and communicate progress to senior business leaders
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to process transactions and perform research to resolve customer issues by navigating multiple computer systems, applications, and utilizing search tools to find information
Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data using Microsoft Excel
Job Expectations:
Ability to work additional hours and different shifts as needed
