As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and clients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents as they arise. This is an armed post, requiring an Armed Guard Card/License and at least six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience. You will play a key role in helping to deter unauthorized access and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous first point of contact.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and any security-related incidents.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters and site updates.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.
- Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and policies to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.

Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations.
- Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
