As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry points, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel in a professional manner at the front desk of the logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
- Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and protocols at the front desk.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
- Communicate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related concerns or unusual activity.
- Provide customer service by answering questions and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the location.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
