What You'll Do
As a Product Analyst in the Digital Collaboration portfolio, you will play a vital role in helping BCG deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance digital collaboration experiences for our global workforce. You'll work across a portfolio that includes the M365 ecosystem including MS Teams, Planner, and more.
In this role, you will work directly with the Product Owner, collaborating on discovery, backlog management, sprint readiness, user feedback synthesis, and adoption insights. Your efforts will help shape how BCG teams connect, collaborate, and share ideas, whether in one of our global offices, work from home or on the go.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategy & Planning
- Stay current on new product releases and feature updates, assessing relevance and incorporating them into the product backlog to ensure alignment with team goals and user needs.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and emerging market scans-particularly across GenAI collaboration tools-to inform product strategy and innovation.
- * Contribute to strategic planning efforts, including drafting initiative memos and supporting coordination and execution of Big Room Planning (BRP) sessions.
2. Execution & Optimization
- Support backlog grooming and sprint readiness by writing and refining user stories, validating business and technical requirements, and ensuring clarity and completeness for development teams.
- Manage and synthesize user feedback, adoption metrics, and behavioral insights to inform prioritization, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to data-driven product decisions.
- Track, analyze, and report on platform KPIs-including usage, performance, accessibility, and user satisfaction-surfacing insights and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT); troubleshoot, document, and escalate bugs and usability issues, ensuring timely resolution.
3. User Engagement & Support
- Provide guidance and support to end users by answering tool-related questions, offering best practice recommendations, and helping them optimize their experience and efficiency with product features.
- Support the creation of user enablement content such as training decks, how-to guides, onboarding materials, and knowledge articles to drive adoption and ease of use across a global user base.
4. Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data analytics, change and communications, security, and other stakeholders to support smooth product releases, enablement, and alignment on shared goals.

- Guiding users on how to confidently navigate platforms and tools, supporting their needs with clarity, empathy, and practical enablement.
- Collaborating with product owners, engineers and other squad members to support agile delivery-participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Gathering, synthesizing, and surfacing user insights to shape thoughtful improvements to features, experiences, and support materials.
- Creating and maintaining structured documentation for user stories, requirements, knowledge articles, and user enablement material.
- Spotting pain points or inefficiencies in user workflows or digital journeys and proactively sharing actionable recommendations with your team.
- Communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency across cross-functional teams.
- Thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments-staying organized across multiple priorities while balancing long-term vision with daily execution.
What You'll Bring
- 4-6+ years of experience in a product analyst, business analyst, or junior product role-ideally within digital platforms or collaboration tools environments.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Planner, and the broader Microsoft 365 suite-or a strong interest in learning them.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira or similar tools for backlog and workflow management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to platform adoption, user behavior, and system performance to generate actionable insights.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to translate technical topics into user-friendly language across written and verbal formats.
- A curious mindset and active interest in emerging collaboration trends, including generative AI.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact team setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business or information technology

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
The base salary range for this role is $95,000.00 - $116,333.33
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
