Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support an aircraft Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). This role is expected to be onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, revising, and reviewing build and installation plans for the aircraft. This is a hands-on, engineering support position that plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of this high-visibility defense program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for component, system, and assembly installations.
• Create, revise, and manage production and manufacturing process documentation and training materials.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with industry and customer standards.
• Analyze data to identify discrepancies and drive continuous improvement.
• Interpret engineering drawings and modifications to assess product impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to define content needs.
• Maintain and update data in web-based tools and systems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100D quality management system requirements.
• Resolve technical issues impacting performance, cost, or schedule.
• Support producibility reviews and installation planning for aircraft modifications.
• Work flexible hours to coordinate with global teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installation and planning.
• 3+ years of experience in aircraft modifications preferred
• Experience with producibility reviews and installation work instructions desired
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with tools such as GOLDesp, CATIA V5, IVT, MANTIS, ADO, CMPRO a plus
• Experience with EBOM/MBOM reconciliation and Manufacturing Readiness Assessments desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

Shift Information:

• This position is for 1st shift and may require flexibility to support program needs. Typically will require a 9x80 work schedule.
