Our healthcare client is looking for a Senior Copywriter who would be responsible for leading direct marketing copy for print, web, email, and television for Annual Enrollment and Open Enrollment sales materials.
This is a freelance opportunity that is 20 hrs / week and 100% remote. Looking for someone who is an EXPERT in direct marketing, ideally with agency experience.
Job Description
-Responsible for leading direct response marketing copy for print, web, email, and television for Annual Enrollment and Open Enrollment sales materials.
-Brainstorms and collaborates with the other team leads to determine appropriate brand messaging for communications projects
-Develops and presents copy that meets cost/benefit, budget, and corporate marketing strategy requirements
-Follows content, copy, and tone of voice guidelines. Follows guidelines so content is compliant with regulatory and trademark requirements
-Edits or supervises editing of internally developed projects for direct response marketing best practices, and grammatical and factual content
Hiring Requirements
-Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a corporate, agency or studio design environment with increasing responsibility
-Minimum of 5 years professional experience specializing in direct response marketing
-Portfolio of produced direct response marketing content including direct mail, email, letters, post cards, landing pages, paid social ads, and video and TV scripts 60 seconds or longer
-Direct response marketing experience with regional or national brands
-Experience writing long and short form copy, headlines, and scripts
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Hiring Preferences
-Deep knowledge of direct response marketing best practices
-Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
-Health insurance or health care experience preferred but not required
-Able to work during Eastern Time Zone working hours
