Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking Quality Control Technicians to work onsite in a Quality facility in Riverview, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and analytical evaluations of products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform visual inspections of in-process and finished materials using appropriate inspection tools and techniques.
  • Establish and follow test methodologies, referencing procedures manuals, sampling charts, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Accurately document inspection results, traceability data, production information, and safety checks.
  • Identify and report quality issues, defects, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Quality Assurance personnel, and recommend corrective actions or equipment modifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Support continuous improvement by monitoring machine performance and reporting inefficiencies.
  • Practice good housekeeping and complete cleaning verification checklists as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
  • Quick learner with the ability to apply new information and methods effectively.
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and scientific methods.
  • Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
  • Maintains required licenses, certifications, and training.
  • Able to identify and resolve routine problems; escalates complex issues to supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience with Quality Control Technical skills
  • Experience with AQL inspections, incoming inspections, DHR reviews, and on-line inspections required
  • Prior experience with problem resolution, documentation, SOPs, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Experience with Blueprints, Process Sheets, Facets, ISO Standards, corrective action, visual inspection, assembly process, Environmental Regulations, and sampling preferred
