Title: Production Artist
Duration: ASAP - Fully Remote
Hours: 40 hours/week, must be available for either the day shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST) or second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM PST)
Rate: $35/hour - $40/hourOur agency client is seeking a Production Artist for an ongoing freelance opportunity. This role requires working in PST.In this role, you'll support the internal pre-media department by preparing and verifying files for print production. You'll play a key part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables across the agency's client work.WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Prepare and preflight client files for print production- Troubleshoot file issues related to desktop publishing and printing- Follow production instructions and maintain accurate job documentation- Perform uploads/downloads, Xerox outputs, and rule-ups- Verify prepress files for dimensions, color, and layout accuracy- Ensure all approved assets are in place before production- Maintain and organize template and photo libraries- Send PDFs for client approvals and manage feedback- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- 2+ years of experience as a Production Artist- Strong understanding of the graphic arts industry and print workflows- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)- Familiarity with tools like PitStop, Suitcase, FTP software (e.g., CyberDuck), and VNC If you think you're a good fit for this role, send us your portfolio / resume!
