JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with extensive experience in shared-risk contracting strategies, particularly Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), a proven track record in developing bid criteria for assessing GMP/EPC proposals, and experience in creating pricing workbooks for GMP/EPC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the project team in implementing procurement strategies that leverage shared-risk contracting models, including GMP/EPC.
* Ensure that all procurement documents and processes are aligned with regulatory compliance standards, including FERC regulations, to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
* Create and maintain pricing workbooks for GMP/EPC contracts, ensuring accurate and transparent pricing structures that align with project requirements.
* Create and maintain scorecard criteria for evaluating GMP proposals
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with project goals and regulatory compliance.
* Conduct regular reviews of procurement documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
* Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
* Support the development of procurement policies and procedures regarding shared-risk contracting strategies, which enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
