Under the supervision of a Senior Specialist or Associate Director, the Maintenance Planner on the Planning Enhancement Team is responsible to support maintenance through a centralized team focused on: driving continuous improvement of all feedback to the maintenance planning and execution processes, facilitating partnership with departments that work with maintenance to enable completion of work, understood capacity of management systems, and maintaining and improving compliance within the work order management process.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as Subject Matter Expert in CMMS and Work Order Management
Maintain and update CMMS records and master data accurately.
Facilitate routing of approvals for CMMS updates and extensions
Provide support for CMMS data updates to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency
Assign codes to work orders.
Make field inspections and determine appropriate job work scopes.
Develop work plans for maintenance jobs with the necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assignment, and execution of maintenance work.
Create, utilize, and maintain plant history and other technical files to update information in current job plans to anticipate and avoid job delays.
Support purchasing duties.
Evaluate job feedback to improve job plans.
Stay up to date with current site safety rules and regulations.
Offer technical assistance and guidance to maintenance personnel.
Prepare and present reports regarding maintenance activities, compliance, and outcomes.
Promote positive safety culture.
Explain and enforce all GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in audits, regulatory inspections, and employee training activities.
Perform any additional related duties as required.
Education Minimum:
B.S. Degree in Science, Engineering, or another technical field OR equivalent industry experience within a maintenance organization.
Required Experience and Skills:
Three (3) years of manufacturing experience or technical support group
Knowledge of large industrial equipment such as fans, pumps, and air handlers and their associated components such as bearings and actuators.
Strong CMMS and Excel skills
Knowledge of safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form.
Proficient with Power BI or Similiar Reporting Program
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Working Knowledge of cGMPs for pharmaceutical and/or vaccine manufacturing
CMRP certification desired.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
