Duration: 06+ Months
Pay Rate: $26.00 - 28.00/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Volt is immediately hiring for Industrial Engineer in Jeffersonville, IN
As a Industrial Engineer you will:
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows and other information to understand the
- methods and activities of manufacturing and services requirements.
- Determine how to deliver services with maximum efficiency using Six Sigma methods.
- Assist management with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the manufacturing
- line process/Train all manufacturing technicians and operators on SOP.
- Analyze and conduct a time study to increase production line efficiency with quality output.
- Design training matrixes for production line technicians and operators/Train and test the line technicians and
- operators routinely to ensure that their skill set qualifications are up to date.
- Compile each department's Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing performance data and analyze them to revise
- Analyze and evaluate any process change request from other departments before releasing to production lines.
- Support Production Department (PD)/Quality Assurance (QA) for finding the cause of poor quality and assist with the
- Detailed oriented, able to concentrate on the work assigned.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and or managers.
- Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
- Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to motivate.
- Able to plan, assist management with directing and delegating work to subordinates.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as administrative management skills.
- Ability to develop the best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
- Able to exemplify professional behavior in all aspects of their position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel (as a tool for data analysis), Word
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing (or similar engineering discipline/relevant
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft applications - highly preferred.
