




Senior Art Director
Position Overview
Our telecommunications client is seeking a Senior Art Director to join their dynamic creative team on a 3 month contract with the opportunity to extend. This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact visual storytelling across a wide range of channels and formats. The ideal candidate is a seasoned creative leader with a strong digital background and hands on experience crafting creative that touches Email, Web, App, Digital Display and some print. This role is rooted more in art background than copy.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office, and can be in Overland Park, KS ideally, but also open to Denver, CO.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and guide the visual direction of creative work across multiple formats, including: Out-of-Home (OOH), Digital, Event, Live Action, Motion Graphics, Branding, Style Guides, Logos, UX/UI, Web, Email, Direct Mail, Presentation Decks, Print, and Photography.
- Collaborate with creative team members, studio managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present creative concepts and final work to senior leadership, articulating design rationale with confidence.
- Provide and receive feedback constructively, knowing when to advocate for ideas and when to pivot.
- Organize and prepare design files for production and handoff to content management teams.
- Maintain and update logo sheets and ensure adherence to file naming conventions and organizational standards.
- Support additional duties and special projects as assigned by business leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-7 years in a creative role within an agency, studio, production company, or in-house design team.
- Minimum 2 years as a full-time Graphic or UX/UI Designer. -
- At least 4 years of experience in Art Direction, including mentoring designers and setting visual direction for campaigns.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across digital and traditional media.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
