RATE OF PAY: $24.58 - $36.88 per hour

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time, non-exempt (eligible for overtime pay), benefited, with a defined contribution retirement plan through TIAA. (The position is not covered under the California Public Employees’ Retirement System.)
The contract terms for this position ends on June 30, 2026. Continued employment in this position is dependent upon funding and the mutual consent of University Enterprises and the employee, and either University Enterprises or the employee, can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause. Program continuation is contingent upon funding.
The selected candidate must furnish proof of eligibility to work in the United States. University Enterprises, Inc. is not a sponsoring agency (i.e. H-1B Visa).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, statistics, health, business administration or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a research position.
- Demonstrated experience using computer applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, such as the programs in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly express ideas and recommendations orally and in writing.
- Excellent command of the English language including grammar, spelling, and punctuation. 6. Demonstrated experience effectively communicating and working with all levels of employees and/or customers while maintaining a professional demeanor and exercising tact and good judgment.
- Ability to provide lead work direction.
- Ability to troubleshoot and propose potential solutions to issues with project timelines and deliverables. 9. Ability to function effectively in a detail-oriented capacity, to respond effectively to changes in priorities and overlapping deadlines, and to work independently. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 10. Must pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting. Must continue to meet the established standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience supervising or leading one or more employees.
- Two or more years of research experience, including: experience with maintaining data security according to protocols; experience in recruiting and tracking participants for research projects; familiarity with data management and methods for tracking project objectives (e.g., recruitment, response, quality control).
- Experience using typical social science statistical software (e.g., Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, Statistical Analysis System) and conducting data analysis.
- Experience using data collection software, such as Qualtrics.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment including computers, telephones, calculators, copiers, printers, and scanners; lift or move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office environment, continuous contact with staff, students, campus community, the public, and other agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for providing dedicated day-to-day support for PRC projects, including working with clients to develop and monitor project methodologies, conducting outreach and recruitment, monitoring project goals, providing lead work direction to project team members, and preparing final deliverables. The position reports directly to and receives general supervision from the Executive Director of PRC. The position receives lead work direction and daily oversight from the Operations Coordinator. The position provides lead work direction to project team members, such as Interviewer IIs and Student Assistants.
The specific duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Acts as the liaison between PRC and the project client.
- Develops project work plans in coordination with the Operations Coordinator and Executive Director. Coordinates the execution of tasks in the project work plan.
- Maintains project records and keeps the project up to date. Alerts the Executive Director about issues or delays in project timelines and deliverables.
- Troubleshoots issues with project timelines and deliverables and proposes potential solutions to the project client and/or Executive Director.
- Establishes and maintains project files and tracking systems including confidential information and data.
- Provides lead work direction to project team members, such as Interviewer IIs and Student Assistants.
- Prepares and submits weekly, monthly, and/or final reports on project progress to the project client.
- Works in collaboration with PRC Data Analyst(s) to analyze the data and prepare final datasets.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Operations Coordinator to ensure the success of the project.

This is not a University position; the incumbent will be an employee of University Enterprises.
