Are you driven by solving complex engineering challenges that have real-world impact? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your technical expertise shapes mission-critical systems for naval and industrial applications? If you’re ready to lead high-stakes projects and take ownership of sophisticated mechanical designs, we want you on our team.
As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer at Jered LLC, a PAR Systems Company, you'll be the technical engine behind our project success—owning the design, execution, and coordination of marine system projects from concept through manufacture. You’ll work across disciplines—mechanical, electrical, controls, and software—to develop systems that meet exacting customer and military specifications. Whether you're reviewing complex calculations, refining designs, or leading project teams, your contributions directly support the strength and reliability of critical maritime operations.
Success Criteria
In this role, you won’t only design components—you’ll lead the full engineering lifecycle for mid-sized marine projects. You’ll generate precise estimates, develop detailed CAD models, and ensure your engineering packages are technically sound, fully compliant, and ready for manufacturing. You’ll support cross-functional integration with controls and electrical systems while mentoring peers and coordinating technical contributions from other engineers. Success in this role means anticipating design challenges, maintaining documentation accuracy, delivering on-time within budget, and acting as the primary technical voice both internally and with our customers. You’ll drive continuous improvement by designing with repeatability and cost-efficiency in mind, all while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
We’re looking for someone who combines deep mechanical knowledge with excellent project coordination skills. If you are a confident problem-solver with a proactive mindset and a passion for engineering excellence, this role could be your next big move.
You’ve learned about what you'll be doing, here are the benefits you'll gain when you join Jered Systems:
* Global team recognized for their passion of inventing
* First-of-a-kind product culture and project exposure
* Training and development from industry-leading experts
* Cutting edge benefit programs that include: 401(k) & matching; Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; Disability & Life Insurance; PTO, Paid Holidays, & Parental Leave for both Parents; Tuition Reimbursement
