The Senior Network Engineer role is pivotal in ensuring the success of multiple IT projects. This position involves:
- Oversight and Participation: Engaging in the architecture, design, engineering, testing, and implementation phases to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets and systems.
- Expertise: Serving as the subject matter expert in various network domains and platforms.
- Consultation: Providing infrastructure consultation on both IT and business projects across the organization.

- Leads the design and implementation of complex network solutions to meet business requirements
- Develops and enforces network policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the network
- Provides mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and analysts
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and solutions into the existing network infrastructure
- Manages large-scale network projects, including planning, execution and delivery
- Conducts advanced network performance analysis and optimization
- Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to develop and implement network strategies
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure
- Evaluates and recommends new networking technologies and solutions.

Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6 years of experience or more as a Network Engineer
- In lieu of a degree, ten years of IT related experience in roles of increasing network responsibilities.
- Functional or educational knowledge of network systems design and implementation from configuration to network administration
- Proven track record of leading complex network projects
- Experience troubleshooting network system issues and exposure to balancing network capacity through bandwidth and network analysis
- Understanding of technical infrastructure to include system management, monitoring, and operations
- One of the following Advanced Cisco Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, CCAR, or CCDA
- Experience in Multicast routing
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions
- Experience working with AZURE AWS cloud networking
- Experience with Cisco ISE
- Hands on experience with WAN, LAN, Dual Stack IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, telecommunications and circuits
- Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with IP telephony
- Experience with Cisco Nexus devices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and position up to 40 pounds
- Possession of a valid state issued driver's license and able to commute between job sites
Desirable Requirements- Experience working with automation tools, such as Ansible, Python scripting
