Job Title: eCommerce Content Manager

Overview:
The eCommerce Content Manager will play a key role in managing digital content across various retailer sites and the company's websites. This role involves project management, content creation, auditing, and optimization to ensure that product listings are accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards. The position will work closely with the internal creative, digital, and retail teams to execute content strategies and ensure content is effectively displayed on both external retailer sites and internal brand websites.

Key Responsibilities:

eCommerce Content Management (~65% of Workload):

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's brands and products, particularly those that are featured on retailer websites.

  • Stay informed on top retailers, with a focus on key retailers for each brand.

  • Learn and master the internal Project Management system, pulling projects and inputting them into a Digital Shelf content-specific tracker to ensure proper project tracking.

  • Write clear and actionable content briefs for the internal creative team to produce content for retailer Product Detail Pages (PDPs), managing the content through multiple rounds of review and revisions.

  • Collaborate with the IDG team to upload new creative assets as needed.

  • Audit content within the company's content hub, identifying missing or outdated materials, and working with the Digital Lead/Seed/IDG team to make necessary updates.

Website Content Entry & Support (~25% of Workload):

  • Assist the Digital Lead in adding new products to the Pet & Hostess websites, making edits to current pages, implementing SEO optimizations, and supporting the creation of new campaign pages.

  • Work with the internal agency and ICX team to develop necessary assets (copy, images, video, etc.) for the websites.

  • Lead project management efforts for ongoing website updates, collaborating with ICX and Digital Leads as needed.

  • Learn and utilize Google Analytics to pull reports as requested, providing data-driven insights.

  • Assist the IS team with ad-hoc website needs and updates.

Miscellaneous/General (~10% of Workload):

  • Regularly engage with the full ICX team and IS team to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.

  • Provide assistance with ratings and reviews as needed, ensuring content is consistently updated and relevant.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Competence in Microsoft Excel, particularly for tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Ability to collaborate with various teams, maintaining a professional and productive work environment.

  • Clear and concise communication skills to facilitate project progress and align teams.

  • Experience with content management systems and workflow tools is preferred.

  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization for eCommerce is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics for reporting and data analysis is advantageous.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support digital content initiatives, streamline content processes, and contribute to the growth of the company's online presence across multiple platforms.
