





Our client is looking for a Content Manager to work onsite 4 days a week in one of their offices ( locations can be Seattle, LA, Chicago, Portland, St. Louis)
**No C2C this is a W2 contract role only**
Overview
The Content Manager plays a vital role in orchestrating content operations across digital marketing channels, ensuring seamless content delivery and optimization through marketing automation platforms. This position bridges the gap between creative teams and technical implementation, focusing on content and asset management, workflow efficiency, quality assurance, and performance optimization. While frequently focused on owned content platforms-such as a web CMS-this role increasingly manages content operations across multiple channels including email and mobile apps.
Working within a hybrid office environment (minimum 4 days in-office), the Content Manager combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive measurable results through both manual and automated content delivery. This individual acts as the connective tissue between creative vision and technical execution, helping to elevate content performance, streamline workflows, and enhance audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end content workflows from creation through publication across marketing automation platforms
- Implement and maintain content governance, including metadata, taxonomies, and content models
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure content meets technical requirements for automated delivery
- Participate in quality assurance processes for content across email, web, and mobile channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience managing content in enterprise marketing automation platforms such as:
- Adobe Experience Manager
- Acquia Drupal
- Episerver
- Sitecore
- Proven experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) tools
- Working knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Familiarity with content workflow tools and project management platforms, such as:
- Jira
- Workfront
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in content management or marketing automation platforms
- Experience with dynamic content optimization and personalization technologies
- Knowledge of content automation tools and AI-powered content solutions
- Understanding of agile methodologies and sprint planning
- Awareness of accessibility standards and content localization requirements
