Job Description:
?We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Business Analyst to support a critical project focused on testing and enhancing the Matrix system. This role will initially be QA-heavy, transitioning into a more Business Analyst-focused position as testing processes mature. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining test documentation, executing regression testing, and collaborating with development vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts and test cases for the Matrix system, focusing on front-end (UI) functionality and user experience.
- Perform regression testing to validate system functionality after updates or new releases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document testing methodologies and processes.
- Conduct bulk data uploads and define associated processes for testing scenarios.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend enhancements to testing strategies.
- Ensure vendor (Change Gear – Service Aid) deliverables meet quality standards.
- Transition into a BA role by gathering and analyzing requirements, supporting documentation updates, and facilitating communication between technical and business teams.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Analyst.
- Proven experience in writing test documentation (test scripts, test cases, etc.).
- Strong background in regression testing and test execution.
- Experience in establishing testing processes and methodologies from the ground up.
- Familiarity with bulk data upload processes and tools.
- Experience working with vendor-managed development teams.
- Knowledge of Service Aid / Change Gear or similar systems.
