


Duties
Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct price negotiations and contract management to secure favorable terms for the organization.
Oversee inventory management and control processes, utilizing MRP systems to forecast needs accurately.
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery schedules and minimize disruptions in supply chains.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using SAP or similar software.
Requirements
High School Diploma and/or GED
2+yrs experience as a purchasing coordinator/purchaser for mechanical parts
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles
Familiar with order entry and inventory control
Able to read and understand documents such as safety policies, SOP's
Must have experience with MS Office
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all purchasing activities
