Overview
The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
* Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and variances.
* Partner with department heads to track financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
* Assist in the preparation of management reports, board presentations, and investor materials.
* Monitor and evaluate capital expenditures, operational costs, and revenue trends.
* Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate financial policies.
* Improve and maintain reporting and analysis of financial metrics; ensure the accuracy of financial metrics
* Perform timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
* Manage cash flow forecasting processes and provide recommendations on optimal use of capital
* Hands-On experience with the ability to directly extract information from the ERP and forecasting systems.
* Other finance and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or similar major (MBA a plus)
* 2-5 years' of relevant work experience in FP&A, a corporate accounting or audit environment
* Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly intermediate Excel experience required
* Experience with SAP Business One preferred
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
