Job Description:

Open to Houston, TX or Salt Lake City, UT

50% travel between Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington (travel expensed)

When not traveling, onsite Mon-Thurs & remote Friday

Contract through EOY with potential to convert

Engineering Experience:

• Mechanical, civil, or petroleum engineering background.
• Experience in engineering design for pipelines and facilities.

Project Management Skills:

• Ability to manage budgets and schedules for engineering projects.
• Experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

Engineering Design vs. Management: Engineers also function as project managers for engineering aspects, managing budgets and schedules.

Project Load: Varies from a couple of large projects to multiple smaller ones (up to 15).

Flexibility in Engineering Background:

• While pipeline experience is preferred, candidates with comparable experience in other industries will be considered.
• Electrical and chemical engineers with relevant experience and passion for pipeline and facility design are also viable candidates.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to independently manage and design all aspects of large, complex projects.

- Ability to perform effectively in a high pace, multi-task environment; and ability to independently plan and organize work schedule.

- Ability to communicate effectively and develop rapport with internal and external customers.

- Ability to operate a personal computer including the ability to utilize computer & engineering software applications

- Ability to perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g. Matlab, Excel, etc.);
