Job Title: IAM Business Analyst
Location: Onsite 4x per week in Tarrytown, NY
Duration: 9M Contract

Overview:
A local pharmaceutical is seeking a skilled IAM Business Analyst to support and drive key initiatives in Identity & Access Management, including lifecycle management and access governance across our enterprise. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, lead IAM project lifecycle activities, and support the use of CyberArk, Okta, and SailPoint platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between IT Security, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align IAM initiatives with business objectives
- Lead efforts in requirements gathering, use case development, and process documentation for IAM-related projects
- Support IAM lifecycle management project, ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards
- Facilitate and conduct meetings with business leaders and SMEs to understand access needs and workflows
- Assist in the formulation of test scripts and participate in UAT and other QA efforts
- Provide input during budget cycles to define IAM project scope and resourcing needs
- Ensure adherence to IAM processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or IAM-focused Analyst role
- Solid understanding of IAM processes, particularly around access provisioning, deprovisioning, and governance
- Familiarity with SailPoint, Okta, and CyberArk — hands-on experience is preferred, but deep technical expertise is not required
- Experience supporting or leading IAM lifecycle management projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — must be comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience in creating project documentation such as BRDs, user stories, workflows, and test cases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with IAM compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA)
- Basic understanding of RBAC, ABAC, or identity governance models
