Job Title: Email Efficiency Strategist
Location: Mechanicsville, VA (Onsite/Hybrid - 2-3 days a week onsite preferred)
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Overview: Our customer is a Heavy Equipment Company specializing in sales, rental, and parts/service. With a large and profitable business, They are at a pivotal point where they need to accelerate growth and transform their marketing strategies. They have multiple lines of business and are undergoing a significant cultural shift driven by an ambitious CEO.
Role and Responsibilities: As an Email Efficiency Strategist, you will play a crucial role in reorganizing and optimizing their email marketing channels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a thorough audit of current email practices and identifying inefficiencies.
- Developing and implementing a strategic plan to improve email effectiveness.
- Analyzing email data to provide actionable insights (e.g., open rates, bounce rates, unsubscribe rates).
- Recommending and executing A/B tests to optimize email campaigns.
- Consolidating and segmenting email distribution lists to reduce overlap and improve targeting.
- Evaluating the current email platform (Pardot) and recommending alternatives if necessary.
- Collaborating with the data team to pull necessary lists and ensure accurate targeting.
- Providing technical expertise to diagnose and resolve email-related issues.
- Ensuring compliance with email marketing best practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in email marketing and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, MS Dynamics).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Mechanicsville, VA, 2-3 days a week.
- Industry experience is not required, but a strong understanding of customer behavior and data analysis is essential.
