Job Description:

Job Description: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension or conversion)

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: $50–$65/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Process & Systems Analyst to support enterprise-wide initiatives, including a major CRM migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ongoing optimization of NetSuite ERP processes. This is a strategic, cross-functional role that requires someone who can operate independently, identify inefficiencies, and drive process improvements across business and technical teams.

This is not a traditional data analyst role. Instead, it’s ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable working in less structured environments, and can serve as the connective tissue between business needs and system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct end-to-end inventory of current processes, data sources, and reporting workflows.
  • Identify data gaps, manual inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
  • Define and document business and data requirements for CRM and ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions in Dynamics 365 and NetSuite.
  • Track and manage open data quality issues and reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (CFO, Head of BI, Consumer leads) to align on priorities and unblock issues.
  • Support the migration of legacy reporting systems into Dynamics 365.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and scalable solutions.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to leadership.
  • Help establish data governance practices and controls where needed.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and NetSuite (not necessarily implementation).
  • Strong process orientation: ability to identify inefficiencies, document workflows, and propose scalable solutions.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without hand-holding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting data/process gaps, and collaborating with tech teams.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with system implementations or migrations (especially CRM/ERP).
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau (not for building dashboards, but understanding data flow).
  • Exposure to financial reporting processes (e.g., MBR, P&L) is helpful but not required.
Why This Role Is Unique
  • High visibility with executive leadership.
  • Opportunity to shape and streamline enterprise systems and reporting.
  • Flexible, remote work environment.
  • A chance to build structure where it doesn’t yet exist—and make a lasting impact.
